Jan Nayak Chaudhry Devi Lal Dental College, Sirsa is a Private college established in the year 2005. The college is affiliated to Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Medical Sciences, Rohtak and and recognized by Dental Council of India and Govt of India with the annual intake of 40 seats in BDS and 18 seats in various streams of Postgraduate Dental Sciences.

The Dental college is located in a in a serene, lush green 150 acre Wi-Fi enabled campus with a dedicated constructed area of 379408 sq.ft for Dental studies. It has state of the art infrastructure which has set high standards in terms of Dental Education and creates an environment for excellent student oriented, patient friendly environment with dedicated faculty in place. Currently the college is equipped with 257 latest electronic Dental chairs and has set up a well maintained laboratory with all the latest equipment. There are technology driven air conditioned gallery type lecture halls with audio-visual and multimedia projection capabilities. There are spacious examination hall, seminar halls and a huge fully equipped Auditorium. The Library is spread in a huge area of over 8500 sqft and has a seating capacity of 400. It has good collection of books of over 5500 and 45 National and International Journals with back volumes with an excellent E-Library facility to benefit the students. State of art preclinical labs equipped with patient simulations and Wi Fi enabled campus. There is a Dental education museum within the campus. The campus houses well ventilated spacious hostels for girls and boys separately with staff quarters. The playground in the sprawling campus is ideal for basketball, football, cricket and volleyball and other games. It is attached with the Jan Nayak Ch. Devilal Superspeciality Hospital & Trauma Centre for clinical practice.

NEETUG MBBS/BDS Counseling is Conducted by Directorate of Medical Education and Research (Combined centralized counseling)

The medical aspirants seeking MBBS/BDS admission at Haryana will have to register themselves through the Combined centralized counseling Deptt. of Medical Education & Research (DMER) Haryana (http://uhsugadmissions.in/) by filling out their application form. Haryana, MBBS/BDS admission is done on the basis of marks secured in NEET. Candidates who will qualify NEET Exam and meet the eligibility requirements can only register and fill out the application form for Haryana MBBS / BDS admission.

Admission to NRI Category (NRIs/PIOs/OCIs/Foreign National) Dept. of Medical Education & Research (DMER) Haryana

The procedure for admission to NRI quota seat shall be as under:-

  1. Only NEET-qualified candidates shall be eligible under NRI category. All admission under NRI category seats shall be as per merit of NEET.
  2. PIOs/OCIs and Foreign Nationals who are NEET qualified can also apply under the NRI category.

The preference for admission under the NRI category shall be considered as under:-

Actual NRIs/OCIs/PIOs candidates who originally belonged to the State of Haryana.
Children of NRIs/OCIs/PIOs who originally belonged to Haryana State
Actual NRIs/OCIs/PIOs who originally belonged to an Indian State and Union Territories other than Haryana.
Children of NRIs/OCIs/PIOs who originally belonged to an Indian State and Union Territories other than Haryana

If the first-degree relation of the student is NRI and residing abroad and the candidate fulfils the following condition:-

  1. He should be the nearest relation.
  2. In the definition of nearest relation, the candidate having the following blood relation:-
    • Real Brother and sister of father i.e real uncle and real aunt.
    • Real brother and Sister of the mother i.e real maternal uncle and maternal aunt.
    • Father and mother of father i.egrand father and grandmother.
    • Father and mother of the mother i.e maternal grandfather and maternal grandmother.
    • First degree-paternal and maternal cousins.
    • Such a person should be NRI
  3. Such persons should ordinarily be residing abroad.
  4. Such a person should have looked after such a student as the guardian of the student and evidence to that effect must have been produced by such person.
Foreign Nationals shall be considered for admission under the NRI quota after exhausting the list of NRIs/ PIOs/OCIs.

NOTE:-

• The NRI students will have to give a Bank Guarantee/Surety Bond for the balance of fee if they opt to pay the fee in installments as provided.

• Any seats remaining vacant under NRI Category shall be filled up by the NEET-qualified eligible foreign nationals. However, if the seats still remain vacant these shall be converted to Open Category seats in Government/Government Aided Medical Colleges and Management Category seats in Private Colleges
