Vaidik Dental College and Research Centre

The Vaidik Dental College and Research Centre, is a Private College, Established in the year of 2009. The College is affiliated to Gujarat University and recognized by Dental Council of India and Govt of India with the annual intake of 100 seats in BDS.

The Dental college is located in a constructed area of 134877 sq.ft and with an open area of 122998 sqft. The college provides good infrastructure to provide Dental Education to students with dedicated faculty around. Currently the college is equipped with 205 Dental chairs and has well maintained laboratory with all the latest equipment as well. There are spacious classrooms and seminar halls and an auditorium. The campus houses well ventilated spacious hostels for girls and boys separately. It is attached with the Government General Hospital Marwad for clinical practice.

Admission to B.D.S

Bachelor of Dental Surgery B.D.S Course (4 Year + 1 Year internship)

“ The undergraduate dental program leading to BDS Degree shall be of 4 (four) academic years plus a one-year rotating internship in a Dental College.
Every student will be required, after passing the final BDS examination, to undergo a one-year rotating internship in a Dental college.
The internship shall be compulsory and BDS Degree shall be granted after completion of one-year internship”.

Admission Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must be an Indian National / N.R.I Candidate who has passed 12th Class examination under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology securing a minimum of 50% marks aggregate in theory and practically taken together, are eligible to apply for admission.
The candidate should attain the age of 17(Seventeen) years as of 31st December of the year admission.
Note:-Appearing / Passing of GUJCET / MH CET is not mandatory for admission to this institute.

How to Apply?

Candidates who fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria can apply for admission to the institute under the Management Quota after filling the Application form for C.E.T. on purchase of Prospectus, within the specified period as mentioned therein along with the photo copies of the requisite documents as specified.
Candidates must secure a minimum of 50% and obtain a merit ranking to be eligible for admission to the B.D.S. course on management quota.

Fees Structure
Annual fees are as fixed by Permanent Fee Fixation Committee constituted by the U.T. Administration of Daman & Diu, based on the actual expenditure and duration of course.
