Army College of Medical Sciences is a leading medical college in India, under the patronage of Army Welfare Education Society of Indian Army. It is situated near Base Hospital Delhi Cantt, New Delhi. ACMS came into existence in 2008 to address the requirement of providing quality under-graduate medical education to wards of serving and retired Indian Army personnel. The College is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, located in Delhi and recognized by Govt. of India and the National Medical Commission (NMC). It has an annual intake of 100 seats in MBBS. It is an army aided college run by Indian army and is among the top 25 medical colleges in India according to India Today 2020 edition. It has very quickly paved it’s way to the top ten private medical colleges of India. Graded A by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
The foundation stone of the College was laid on 28 Jan 2004 by Raksha Mantri Shri George Fernandes. It was inaugurated by Raksha Mantri Shri AK Antony on 05 Jan 2009. Since inception, ACMS students have been securing top positions in University Examinations, averaging ten Distinctions in every University Examination. They have made their mark in various inter-college academic, sports and cultural competitions. The undergraduate medical education is delivered with the state of the art infrastructure with latest technologies and in sync with the recent developments in medical education. The college has well-defined Pre-clinical, Para-clinical and Clinical departments with best of facilities. There are very good spacious lecture halls, Examination halls, Demonstration rooms, Departmental museums and Skill Laboratories. Being a complete residential Medical College, all students will compulsorily stay in hostels separately meant for boys and girls with all the facilities. It has a secure boundary wall and gate is manned by security guards. There are Air-conditioned reading rooms, Cafeteria, Gym room, Indoor and Outdoor sports and Games facility. The college has a separate library building which is open 24X7 with an excellent collection of medical books and journals, back volumes, Atlases, Dictionaries, Directories, Encyclopaedias, Technical Reports.

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) 100% SEAT

Eligibility Criteria: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU)
- Candidate should have passed the 12th Class under the 10+2 Scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or an equivalent examination of the recognised University/Board of any Indian State with PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, BIOLOGY/BIOTECHNOLOGY and ENGLISH (core or elective or functional). Candidate must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English (core or elective or functional) individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology /Biotechnology(40% in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates, subject to availability of seat for these categories in the respective institutions).
- Candidate should be an Indian/ Overseas Indian / Nepal citizen. Non-Resident Indians and Foreign Nationals are not eligible
- All candidates must appear in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate of (NEET-UG ) and qualify to be considered for admission.
- For the seats of Delhi Category / Quota, candidates who have studied 10+2 (11th and 12th) classes in the recognized School/College in Delhi and passed the qualifying examination from any School/College located in Delhi only shall be eligible for MBBS Programme
- The candidate should have attained the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of his admission to the first year of the Course.
- The candidate should be medically fit to pursue the allocated course on medical examination.
Reservation Criteria: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU)
- For SC/ST/OBC category candidates for MBBS/BDS, a relaxation of 5 years shall be granted on the maximum age specified.
- The reservation certificate should be issued from the Govt. of NCT of Delhi. Example: Candidate claiming for the seat reserved for Delhi SC/ST/OBC category then he has to bring SC/ST/OBC certificate issued by Govt. of NCT of Delhi and also pass his/her qualifying examination from Delhi.
- For the PWD category, 5% seats are reserved horizontally in every region/category. For the documents required see section 6.1.3 of Chapter 6 of this Admission Brochure. The certificate as given in (as per Appendix 2 in PART E of the Admission Brochure) must indicate the nature and extent of physical disability as per the guidelines of the Medical Council of India/ Dental Council of India. No Certificate other than this shall be accepted for claiming the PH/PWD Seat. Provided that if the seat reserved for Physically Handicapped/Person with Disability remains unfilled due to non-availability of eligible candidates(s) under this category, the same shall be treated as unreserved of the particular category
- For the defence category, 5% of seats shall be reserved horizontally in all category seats. May see Section 6.1.2 of Chapter 6 of this admission regarding defense eligibility. Provided that if the seat reserved for defence category remains unfilled due to the non-availability of eligible candidates(s) under this category, the same shall be treated as unreserved of the particular category.

| If the candidate wants to upgrade his/ her choice by participating in next round of counseling as per his/ her filled choices should choose option FLOAT. |
| Those candidates who opts ‘FLOAT’ option will be able to participate in next round of counselling and his/ her allotted seat will get retained if the candidate is not able to get higher choice |
