MGM Institute of Health Sciences, MGMIHS Navi Mumbai is established in the Year 1989. The campus houses a medical college with 150 MBBS annual admissions and  Post Graduate Courses in 24 departments in  Super-specialties Courses in 3 departments The college is recognized by the Govt. of India and the National Medical Commission (NMC)  and is affiliated with MGM Institute of Health Sciences (Deemed University), Navi Mumbai.

MGMIHShas have been rated Grade A by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).MGMIHS has ranked amongst the top 200 universities of India (Under Rank Band: 151 - 200) in the NIRF – 2019 ranking. It has also received National 3rd ranking under Swachh Campus by MHRD, Govt. of India for recognizing the green, self-sustained and environment-friendly campus at both locations.

MGM Medical College has well-equipped dedicated classrooms for a seating capacity of 200+ students in bigger classrooms and 40 students in smaller classrooms. The classroom walls are so designed to prevent sound intrusion from adjacent spaces. The MGM Central Medical Library is located on the 2nd floor of the MGM Medical College building with a carpet area of 16000 sq. feet. MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai has separate hostels for boys and girls each with all modern facilities, for boarding and other recreational activities.

The University has its own fleet of buses plying in all the areas of Navi Mumbai and Panvel for faculty, students, and staff. The College has adequate buses which are made available to the students and the faculty members for commuting from various points in the city

Admission Process

Eligibility

  • Pass in 10+2 with 50% in Physics, Chemistry & Biology and English as one of the languages of study.
  • Qualifying and applying for NEET-UG and registration for All India counseling is mandatory.
  • Age: The candidates should complete 17 years of age on or before the first day of December of the year for which admission is sought.
  • NEET (UG)  will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses.

Admission under NRI quota

 The admission under the NRI category is based on NEET ranking and on merit in the qualifying examination taking into consideration, marks secured in the core subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. Foreign nationals are also considered for admission under this quota.

  • Proof of NRI status (Passport copy of parent, employment certificate, Sponsorship letter)

Additional documents to be produced for foreign nationals only

  • A valid passport and student visa for the period of study. (Original must be shown for verification. 5 duly-attested photocopies must be produced.)
  • Residential Permit from the local SP and FRO
  • No Objection Certificate issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India
  • These will be processed once the student reports at the University/Institution. The payment of the fee shall be from the Non-Resident External (N.R.E) account of the parent.
