D.A. Pandu Memorial R.V Dental College established in the year 1992 is one of the most reputed Dental colleges in Karnataka. It was formerly known as RV Dental College and was renamed in honour of its former Hon. Secretary ,the late Sri. D A Pandu. The College is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka and recognized by Dental Council of India with the annual intake of 60 seats in BDS and 30 seats in various streams of Postgraduate Dental Sciences. It has received the prestigious NAAC A grade and is run by the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust which was founded in 1940 and which has over 19 institutions under its umbrella.

The Dental college is located in a sprawling campus of over 2,25,000sqft with a dedicated constructed area of 172000 sq.ft and a non-constructed area of 76600 sqft with state of the art infrastructure which has set high standards in terms of Dental Education and creates an environment for excellent student oriented, patient friendly environment with dedicated faculty in place. Currently the college is equipped with 264 latest electronic Dental chairs and has set up a well maintained laboratory with all the latest equipment. There are technology driven air conditioned gallery type lecture halls with audio-visual and multimedia projection capabilities. There are two huge auditoriums and board rooms within the campus. Mobile dental unit for community dental service in rural areas. There are spacious examination hall and seminar halls. The Library is spread in a huge area with good collection of books of over 8149 and National and International Journals with back volumes with an excellent E-Library facility to benefit the students. State of art preclinical labs equipped with patient simulations and Wi Fi enabled campus. There is a Dental education museum within the campus. The campus houses well ventilated spacious hostels for girls and boys separately with staff quarters. The playground in the sprawling campus is ideal for basketball, football, cricket and volleyball and other games. It is attached with the Sevakshetra Hospital for clinical practice
