Dayananda Sagar College of Dental Sciences established since 1992 is one of the reputed Dental college in Karnataka known for its high quality and distinct learning experiences. The College is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka and recognized by Dental Council of India with the annual intake of 60 seats in BDS and 37 seats in various streams of Postgraduate Dental Sciences.

The Dental college is located in a lush green campus spread over 32 acres of land with a dedicated constructed area of 104071 sq.ft and a non-constructed area of 157289 sqft with state of the art infrastructure which has set high standards in terms of Dental Education and creates an environment for excellent student oriented, patient friendly environment with dedicated faculty in place. Currently the college is equipped with 206 latest electronic Dental chairs and has set up a well maintained laboratory with all the latest equipment. There are technology driven air conditioned gallery type lecture halls with audio-visual and multimedia projection capabilities. There are spacious examination hall and seminar halls. There is a modern Amphitheatre and huge Auditorium within the campus. The Library is spread in a huge area with good collection of books and National and International Journals with back volumes with an excellent E-Library facility to benefit the students. State of art preclinical labs equipped with patient simulations and Wi Fi enabled campus. There is a Dental education museum within the campus. The campus houses well ventilated spacious hostels for girls and boys separately with staff quarters. The playground in the sprawling campus is ideal for basketball, football, cricket and volleyball and other games. It is attached with the Sagar Hospital for clinical practice
