The College of Dentistry, Indore a maiden and Government Dental Institute of Madhya Pradesh was started in 1961. It initially started as a wing of M.G.M. Medical College, Indore and later it became independent in operation and is managed by an autonomous society of the College of Dentistry. The institution is situated in the heart of the city within a distance of 1.7 KM from the Bus Stand and 1.9 KM from the Railway Station. It is located opposite to biggest government hospital in the state, MY Hospital. It treats all the needy people and is one of the highest centers of referral for dental services in the state. The College is affiliated to the Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Jabalpur and recognized by Dental Council of Indiawith the annual intake of 60 seats in BDS and 9 seats in various streams of Postgraduate Dental Sciences.

The Dental college is located in a constructed area of 139342 sq.ft and a non-constructed area of 69052 sqft with state of the art infrastructure which has set high standards in terms of Dental Education and creates an environment for excellent student oriented, patient friendly environment with dedicated faculty in place. Currently the college is equipped with 120 latest electronic Dental chairs and has set up a well maintained laboratory with all the latest equipment. There are technology driven air conditioned gallery type lecture halls with audio-visual and multimedia projection capabilities. There are spacious examination hall and seminar halls. The Library is spread in a huge area with good collection of books and National and International Journals with back volumes with an excellent E-Library facility to benefit the students.State of art preclinical labs equipped with patient simulations and Wi Fi enabled campus. There is a Dental education museum within the campus. The campus houses well ventilated spacious hostels for girls and boys separately with staff quarters. The playground in the sprawling campus is ideal for basketball, football, cricket and volleyball and other games. MCC (Medical Counselling Committee)(15%) (Open To All)

The MCC/DGHS will be doing Counseling for 15% AIQ, 100% Deemed Universities, Central Universities (Delhi University, AMU & BHU including Institutional/ Domicile Quota), ESIC, AFMC(only Registration Part) &I.P University (VMMC & SJH AND ABVIMS & RML& ESIC Dental, Delhi (15% AIQ + 85% Institutional Quota ) 100% AIIMS, 100% JIPMER and B.Sc. Nursing (only 08 Central Institutes). The role of MCC of DGHS is limited to allotment of seats to the participating candidates, as per their merit and choice, which starts only after receiving the list/data/Information of successful candidates from National Testing Agency i.e. the NEET (UG) examination conducting body.

There will be four rounds of AIQ counseling i.e. Round 1, Round 2, AIQ Mop-up Rounds and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round (SLA(C) No. 10487 of 2021 before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India). All candidates who have qualified for All India Quota seats on the basis of their rank in NEET UG conducted by the NTA will be eligible for participation in the counselling process. MCC- AIQNEET-UG Counselling Seats Allotment

College of Dentistry, Indore BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) Counseling is conducted by DEPARTMENT OF MEDICALEDUCATION (DME) in Madhya Pradesh (85%)

The medical aspirants seeking MBBS/BDS admission at Madhya Pradesh will have to register themselves for the The Directorate of Medical Education (DME- MP), admission process by filling out their application form. Madhya Pradesh MBBS/BDS admission is done on the basis of marks secured in NEET. Candidates who will qualify NEET Examand meet the eligibility requirements can only register and fill the application form for The Directorate of Medical Education (DME- MP), MBBS / BDS admission. The Directorate of Medical Education (DME- MP) counseling is conducted in Three rounds (Round 1, Round 2, and Mop-up Round). The fourth round being theCollege Round, if the number of vacant seats is x, then a 10x the list of registered candidates will be sent to the college and is to be exhausted strictly in order of merit. Combined Seat selection for Government Seats (Competent Authority Quota) and Management quota seats will be exclusively through web counseling.

Eligibility For Admission
1. Qualification:

• 12th or (10+2 Equivalent) with Minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English for UR & 40% for SC/ST/OBC.
• Those who have qualified NEET by scoring the minimum qualifying percentage will be eligible for the Admission and Counseling. Candidates should have earned a minimum of 50 percentile (40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC and 45th percentile for General-PH) in order to become eligible for NEET counseling rounds
• AGE: A student must have completed an age of 17 years at the time of admission under NEET eligibility or should complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course.

Government Seats (Competent Authority Quota)

Means and includes seats in Government colleges and Government share of seats in Private colleges.

• 85% of Seats in Government colleges (after exclusion of 15 % seats transferred to All India Quota)
• MBBS/ BDS shall be reserved for candidates

• 10% of total seats in specified Government Medical / Dental Colleges reserved for economically weaker section ( EWS ) Category

• On homepage, click on “Create profile” and enter your NEET UG 2022 roll number and secret key
• After creating profile, click on registration form on candidate status tracker
• Register by entering necessary details and upload necessary documents
• Pay the registration fee
