The Sri Siddhartha Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, Bangalore, was established in the Year 2019-20, Affiliated to Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education, Tumkur (Deemed University) under sponsoring by Sri Siddhartha Education Society. The Medical College and Hospital is located in the outskirts of Bangalore City – 38km from the city on Bangalore-Pune highway and is well connected by Road, Railway and Airways. The College is recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC), India and has been permitted an annual intake of 150 MBBS seats. 

The campus is spread in an area of around 20+acres with lush green cover and has good upcoming infrastructure. It has an academic building for the Pre-Clinical and Para-Clinical departments with the Teaching Hospital within the campus. It has technology-infused Classrooms, Lecture halls, Demonstration halls, Discussion rooms, Seminar Halls. The Laboratories are  well-equipped, modernized, and have latest Technology-driven equipment. Skills lab at SSIMRC provides a safe environment for students to learn, practice and be observed performing skills. Departmental Museums are in place to promote learning. There are separate hostel facilities for Boys & Girls. Indoor and Outdoor Games and Sports facilities are available within the campus. Bank and ATM facilities for convenience of students. The Central Library has over 5000 titles , a hundred-plus leading medical journals , a large database of Case studies across various disciplines for deeper understanding and research.

The Teaching Hospital is an upcoming one which is located within the campus. The OPD's and IP Department are functional. Clinical departments like ENT, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, Ophthalmology, General Medicine, Paediatrics, General Surgery and Department of OBG are being formed and are coming up. 24X7 Emergency Care and Blood bank services are available. Clinical and Diagnostic Laboratories are being set up with all the modern equipment. 15 bedded ICU is in place manned by intensivists and anesthesiologists round the clock with up to date facilities for resuscitation, trauma management, poisoning management, extended life support. It is equipped with ventilators, ABG machine, Vein Finders, Defibrillators, Crash carts and not to forget the experienced staff.

    Sri Siddhartha Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre MBBS NEETUG Counseling is conducted by  MCC (Medical Counselling Committee)( Open To All ) 

    MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) COUNSELING PROCESS:-

    The MCC/DGHS conducts Counseling for allotment of Under Graduate (MBBS/BDS and B.sc. Nursing) seats to the NEET UG/BDS eligible and qualified candidates in participating Government Medical/Dental Colleges of the country under 15% All India Quota and 100% Central & Deemed University quota every year. All the candidates who have qualified for All India Quota seats on the basis of their rank in NEET UG/BDS conducted by NBE including candidates from Union Territory of J&K will be eligible. The role of the MCC of DGHS is limited to the allotment of seats to the participating candidates, as per their merit and choice, which starts only after receiving the list/data/Information of successful candidates from the National Board of Examinations (NBE) i.e. the NEET (UG) examination conducting body 

    Candidates who fall under the category of NRI as per the directions/ orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the case (W.P. No. 689/2017- Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Anr. Vs. Union of India &Ors.) dated 22-08- 2017 are eligible for NRI Category seats. OCI/PIO/Foreign Nationals will be eligible for only NRI seats. The eligible Indian National Candidates wanting to get converted to sponsored NRI category have to submit the documents as and when the same is called for by the MCC.

    • The Candidate should have qualified NEET UG.
    • Domicile free Counseling (Open to all)

    Step Wise Counseling Process conducted by MCC:  Sri Siddhartha Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre

                   There are four rounds of counseling i.e. Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round & Stray Vacancy Round. Out of the four rounds for Deemed Universities, 03 rounds are conducted online by MCC i.e. Round 1, Round 2, and Mop-Up Round. The Stray Vacancy round is conducted physically by the Deemed Universities for which the list of registered & eligible Candidates is forwarded by MCC to the respective Deemed Universities. The allotment shall only be in terms of merit

    1. “Satisfied with the allotted seat and candidate is willing to report to the allotted college, not interested in further allotment of seats in any subsequent round for any discipline”.
    2. The candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat but wishes to participate in the next round. Such candidates should pay the prescribed fees
    3. The candidate is not satisfied with the present allotment and wishes to participate in the next round of counseling. The previously allotted seat is forfeited and offered to the next eligible candidate
    4. Not satisfied with MCC allotted seat and candidate has got seat elsewhere, so the candidate is quitting and not to be considered for allotment of seats in any of the further rounds

    2nd Round:- (AIQ, Deemed University, Central University/Institutes, DNB)

    Fresh Registration for Mop-up Round (not required for earlier resigned candidates)

    • Notification for counseling process
    • NRI application with appropriate documents to be mailed for opening the NRI portal ([email protected])
    • Registration fee varies as per the Filling of application form for AIQ, Deemed, CU, DU, Central Institutes, AFMS
    • Seat matrix display
    • Choice filling
    • Seat allotment
    • All allotted students must download the allotment letter
    • If Allotted (No Free Exit)(Exit With Forfeiture of Fees )(No Upgradation For Next Round)
    • Reporting at the Medical Institutions/university against 2nd Round (candidates who joined the allotted seat against 2nd Round are not allowed to vacate the seat)

    Mop-Up Round (Final Round):- (AIQ, Deemed University, Central University/Institutes, DNB)
    Fresh Registration for Mop-up Round (not required for earlier resigned candidates)

    • Notification for counseling process
    • NRI application with appropriate documents to be mailed for opening the NRI portal ([email protected])
    • Registration fee varies as per the Filling of application forms for Deemed, CU, DU, Central Institutes, AFMS

    • If Allotted (No Free Exit)(Exit With Forfeiture Of Fees )
    • Reporting To The College
    • All Non Reported Seat Will Be Displayed And Transferred To Concerned Deemed University

    Stray vacancies:- (AIQ,  Central University/Institutes, DNB)

    • There will be no Fresh Registration of Candidates in the Final Stray Vacancy Round.
    • There will be no choice filling in Stray Vacancy Round. The choices filled during the Mop-Up round will be considered for allotment in Stray Vacancy Round.
    • Allotment of seats ‘Online’ by running software
    • Eligible candidates who are not holding any seat can participate in Stray Vacancy Round

    Stray vacancies:- (DEEMED)

    • Final Stray Vacancy Round to be conducted by Deemed/ Central Universities (There will be no Fresh Registration of Candidates in Final Stray Vacancy Round)
    • List of ten times (of the registered candidates) of the number of Stray vacancies to be sent to Deemed / Central Universities to be exhausted strictly in order of merit.
    • For Deemed Universities the Stray Vacancy Round will be conducted by the respective Deemed University
    • Eligible candidates who are not holding any seat can participate in Stray Vacancy Round
