Raipur Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital is 650+ bedded a tertiary care multi-specialty hospital attached to the College. It runs outpatient departments in general medicine, general surgery, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, dermatology, pulmonary medicine, geriatric medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, dentistry, paediatrics, physiotherapy and psychiatry. RIMS Hospital medical equipment and infrastructure including CT & MRI Scanners, Digital X-Ray, Mammogram, Ultrasound, Colour Doppler, Cath Lab, Dialysis facilities, Labour delivery rooms for high-risk pregnancies, Critical Care Units, Neonatal Intensive Care units. Directorate of Medical Education (DME) conducts counselling MBBS NEETUG For Raipur Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS)

Medical aspirants aiming for MBBS/BDS programs in Chhattisgarh must initiate their admission process by registering with the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) . This crucial step involves completing and submitting the application form tailored for Chhattisgarh MBBS/BDS admissions. Admission to these sought-after courses is strictly based on the candidate's performance in the NEET2024 examination. Only those who successfully clear the NEET2024 and fulfill the set eligibility criteria are entitled to proceed with their registration and fill out the DME application for MBBS/BDS admissions.

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) conducts its counseling process in three distinct rounds: Round 1, Round 2, and the Subsequent MOP-UP rounds, to efficiently allocate seats. Candidates vying for both Government and Management quota seats will have the opportunity to select their seats through a transparent web counseling process, ensuring a fair and systematic distribution of seats among qualified applicants.

Eligibility For Admission

• 12th or (10+2 Equivalent) with Minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English for UR & 40% for SC/ST/OBC.
• Those who have qualified NEET -UG by scoring the minimum qualifying percentage will be eligible for the Admission and Counseling. Candidates should have earned a minimum of 50 percentile (40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC and 45th percentile for General-PH) in order to become eligible for NEET -UG counseling rounds
• AGE: A student must have completed an age of 17 years at the time of admission under NEET eligibility or should complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course.

Registration

Candidates who wish to participate in the counselling of Chhattisgarh NEETUG need to register on the official website of the DME. The steps for online registration have been given below:

• Visit the official website at cgdme.co.in
• On the homepage, click on the link that reads,” NEET UG (MBBS/BDS) Application form ”
• Enter the student login credentials such as NEET Roll number/ Username, and click on the sign-in option.
• Fill up the application form. Upload the documents, if required.
• Pay the application fee.
• Submit the form and take a printout of it for future reference.

Government Seats (State Quota)

Means and includes seats in Government colleges and Government share of seats in Private colleges.

• 85% of Seats in Government colleges (after exclusion of 15 % seats transferred to All India Quota)
• Government seats for admission by the University for MBBS/ BDS shall be reserved for candidates belonging to:

• Few seat Government Medical / Dental Colleges reserved for economically weaker section ( EWS ) Category
