Netaji Subhas Medical College & Hospital is established by Sitwanto Devi Mahila Kalyan Sansthan at Amhara, Bihta, Patna. The Institute is the brainchild of our visionary Chairman, Shri M.M Singh. The Chairman’s idea behind the establishment of Netaji Subhas Medical College & Hospital is to provide best in class Medical Education to the students and nurture world-class Doctors for the service to the Nation. The college is recognized by the Govt. of India and the National Medical Commission (NMC) and is affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna for its MBBS Course with an Intake of 100 Seats in Session 2020-2021.Netaji Subhas Medical College & Hospital has a large Auditorium, a well-established Library, and Lecture Halls. The Classroom is equipped with Smartboards and cutting Edge Audio Video System. The Classrooms are centrally air-conditioned to keep students comfortable while learning. The college has an excellent central library facility. It has a total floor area of 3000 sq. meter, with a provision of a separate reading room for the teaching staff and spacious reading halls to accommodate over 200 students. The institute has a lavish playground with support to outdoor games and a setup for Indoor Facilities. The college has a well stocked Gym and swimming pool. The teaching hospital of Netaji Subhas Medical College & Hospital is operational with 300 Beds in ward, 24 Hour Emergency & Ambulance Services with 30 Beds fully equipped with all trauma and critical care support , 25 Beds in Intensive Care Unit (ICU, ICCU, PICU, NICU, SICU), , Advanced Diagnostics Services, Radiology Services(CT Scan with 32 Slice Machine, Ultra Sound , X-Ray etc.), Cardiology Services (ECG, TMT, & ECHO etc) and also houses 5 Modular OT, Blood Bank (Component Separation facility), Labor Room , CSSD and Virology Lab(RTPCR) with all necessary infrastructure. It runs outpatient departments in general medicine, general surgery, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, dermatology, pulmonary medicine, geriatric medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, dentistry, paediatrics, physiotherapy and psychiatry. The institute also runs super speciality clinics of Neurology, Neuro Surgery, Urology, Nephrology for the service of the patients.

Netaji Subhas Medical College & Hospital Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Counseling is conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB)

TThe medical aspirants seeking MBBS/BDS admission at BIHAR will have to register themselves for the BCECE (UGMAC ) admission process by filling out their application form. Bihar, MBBS/BDS admission is done on the basis of marks secured in NEET. Candidates who will qualify NEET Exam and meet the eligibility requirements can only register and fill the application form of BCECE (UGMAC ), MBBS / BDS admission.

The NEET UG 2024 counseling process will consist of four rounds: Round-1, Round-2, Round-3, and the Stray Vacancy Round. All these counseling rounds will be conducted online. Notably, for Round-3, there will be an opportunity for fresh online registration and submission of application forms for candidates who did not previously register or submit their forms before the first round of counseling. This provision ensures that eligible candidates who missed the initial registration can still participate in the later stages of the counseling process.

Eligibility For Admission : Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB)
1. Qualification:

• 12th or (10+2 Equivalent) with Minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English for UR & 40% for SC/ST/OBC.
• Those who have qualified NEET by scoring the minimum qualifying percentage will be eligible for the Admission and Counseling. Candidates should have earned a minimum of 50 percentile (40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC and 45th percentile for General-PH) in order to become eligible for NEET counseling rounds
• AGE: A student must have completed an age of 17 years at the time of admission under NEET eligibility or should complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course.

Government Seats (State Quota)

Means and includes seats in Government colleges and Government share of seats in Private colleges.

• 85% of Seats in Government colleges (after exclusion of 15 % seats transferred to All India Quota)
• 50% of the available seats for admission by the University for MBBS/ BDS shall be reserved for candidates belonging to: SC – 16%, ST- 1%%, Backward Classes (BC)-12% Reserved Category Girls (RCG)-3%, Extremely Backward Class (EBC)-18%
• 10% of total seats in specified Government Medical / Dental Colleges reserved for economically weaker section ( EWS ) Category

• 15% of NRI quota (NRI/NRI Sponsored) Seats in case of Private Medical College
• 85% is open to all
