The College is affiliated Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal, located in Telangana and recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC) with an annual intake of 175 seats in MBBS. The medical college and hospital is proposed to be located on a 25 acre land on the outer ring road of Siddipet City. The construction was completed in a record time of 5 and a half months. It is an upcoming Government Medical college with decent infrastructure and facilities. There are good spacious Classrooms, Lecture halls with a seating capacity of 150, Demonstration room & Examination Hall. Separate Hostel facility for Boys and Girls. Departmental museums are in place and there are good laboratory facilities. The MCC/DGHS will be doing Counseling for 15% AIQ, 100% Deemed Universities, Central Universities (Delhi University, AMU & BHU including Institutional/ Domicile Quota), ESIC, AFMC(only Registration Part) &I.P University (VMMC & SJH AND ABVIMS & RML& ESIC Dental, Delhi (15% AIQ + 85% Institutional Quota ) 100% AIIMS, 100% JIPMER and B.Sc. Nursing (only 08 Central Institutes).The role of MCC of DGHS is limited to allotment of seats to the participating candidates, as per their merit and choice, which starts only after receiving the list/data/Information of successful candidates from National Testing Agency i.e. the NEET (UG) examination conducting body
There will be four rounds of AIQ online counseling i.e. AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop-Up Round and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round (SLA (C) No. 10487 of 2021 in the matter of Nihila P.P. v/s MCC & Ors. Hon’ble Supreme Court of India) which will be conducted in online mode. All candidates who have qualified for All India Quota seats on the basis of their rank in NEET UG conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) across the Country. Eligible candidates may download the Rank letter/ Result from NTA website. Cut-off rank of eligible candidates will also be available on the MCC website (www.mcc.nic.in). No seats will be reverted back after the completion of round 2 of AIQ to the States.

The medical aspirants seeking MBBS/BDS admission at KNR University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) will have to register themselves for the KNRUHS admission process by filling out their application form. Telangana MBBS/BDS admission is done on the basis of marks secured in NEET-UG. Candidates who qualify NEET-UG Exam and meet the eligibility requirements can only register and fill the application form for Telangana MBBS / BDS admission. KNRUHS counseling is conducted in Three Rounds (Round 1, Round 2, and Mop-Up Round) & the Fourth round being the College Round. Suppose the number of vacant seats is x, then 10x of list of registered candidates will be sent to the college and is to be exhausted strictly in order of merit. Seat selection for Government Seats (Competent Authority Quota) will be exclusively through web counseling and for Management Quota seats will be through online counseling.

(B) The Local Candidate: A candidate for admission shall be regarded as a local candidate in relation to a local area.
a) If he has studied in educational institutions in such a local area for a period of not less 4 than four consecutive academic years ending with the. The academic year in which he appeared or as the case may be first appeared in the relevant qualifying examination.
b) Where during the whole or any part of the four consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he appeared or as the case may first appear for the relevant qualifying examination, he has not studied in any educational institutions, If he has resided in that local area for a period of not less than four years immediately preceding the date of commencement of the relevant qualifying examination which he appeared or as the case may first appear.
50% of Seats in case of Private Un-aided Non-Minority and 40% Minority Medical College ( 85% of the seats under Management Quota Category B for MBBS/BDS Courses are reserved for local candidates from Telangana state in accordance with GO.Ms.No.130 HM&FW (C1) Department, Dated:27.09.2022. The remaining 15% of the seats are open to candidates from all over the country along with local candidates.)
