The Christian Medical College and Hospital is a private, Christian minority-run teaching hospital in Ludhiana, India. Founded in 1894, it was then the first medical school for women in Asia. It was officially recognized in the year 1953 and is recognized by Govt. of India and the National Medical Commission (NMC) and affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. The college offers 75 seats in MBBS, 79 seats in 18 disciplines of Postgraduate Courses and 10 seats in 7 disciplines of Super-Specialization studies. The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked CMC Ludhiana 18 among medical colleges in India in 2020. CMC Ludhiana is ranked 28th by India Today in 2020 and 13th by Outlook India among the medical colleges of India in 2019.

The medical aspirants seeking MBBS/BDS admission at Punjab will have to register themselves through Combined centralized counseling under the aegis of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. by filling out their application form. Punjab, MBBS/BDS admission is done on the basis of marks secured in NEET. Candidates who will qualify NEET Exam and meet the eligibility requirements can only register and fill the application form for Punjab, MBBS / BDS admission. Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot counseling is conducted in Three Round (Round 1(online), Round 2(Physical Counseling), and Mop-up Round(Physical Counseling)). The fourth round being the College Round, if the number of vacant seats is x, then a 10x the list of registered candidates will be sent to the college and is to be exhausted strictly in order of merit.
