The Chattisgarh Dental College & Research Institute, Rajnandgaon, is a Private College, Established in the year of 2001. The College is affiliated to Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences and and recognized by Dental Council of India and Govt of India with the annual intake of 100 seats in BDS and 29 seats in various streams of Postgraduate Dental Sciences. Crowned with the glory of being the first dental college of the state. Chhattisgarh Dental College & Research Institute is run by Youth Foundation of India which is a social body of young enthusiasts from various fields dedicated towards the educational development In the state. 

The Dental college is located in a constructed area of 110500 sq.ft  and with an open area of 119496 sqft. The college provides state of the art infrastructure which has set high standards in terms of Dental Education and creates an environment for excellent student oriented, patient friendly environment with dedicated faculty in place. Currently the college is equipped with 279 latest electronic Dental chairs and has set up a well maintained laboratory with all the latest equipment as well. There are technology driven air conditioned classrooms and seminar halls located in a triple storied building consists of all the non clinical departments and lecture halls. library has area of 7000 sq.ft including separate reading room and has over 3500 books covering all subjects in dentistry as well as medical subjects. There are about 25 internationally acclaimed dental journals and 18 national journals. There is an centrally air conditioned Auditorium. State of art preclinical labs equipped with patient simulations and Wi Fi enabled campus. There is a Dental education museum within the campus. The campus houses well ventilated spacious hostels for girls and boys separately. It is attached with the Govt. Medical College, Rajnandgaon for clinical practice.

Admission Process

Chattisgarh Dental College & Research Institute BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) Counseling is conducted by DEPARTMENT OF MEDICAL EDUCATION (DME) Chhattisgarh

The medical aspirants seeking MBBS/BDS admission at Chhattisgarh will have to register themselves for the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) admission process by filling out their application form. Chhattisgarh, MBBS/BDS admission is done on the basis of marks secured in NEET. Candidates who will qualify NEET Exam and meet the eligibility requirements can only register and fill the application form of Directorate of Medical Education (DME), MBBS / BDS  admission. Directorate of Medical Education (DME) counseling is conducted in Three Round (Round 1, Round 2, and Subsequent MOP UP rounds). Seat selection for Government Seats and for Management quota seats will be through web counseling

Eligibility For Admission
1. Qualification:

  • 12th or (10+2 Equivalent) with Minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English for UR &  40% for SC/ST/OBC.
  • Those who have qualified NEET -UG by scoring the minimum qualifying percentage will be eligible for the Admission and Counseling. Candidates should have earned a minimum of 50 percentile (40th  percentile for SC/ST/OBC and 45th percentile for General-PH) in order to become eligible for NEET -UG counseling rounds
  • AGE: A student must have completed an age of 17 years at the time of admission under NEET eligibility or should complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course.


Government Seats (State Quota)

Means and includes seats in Government colleges and Government share of seats in Private colleges.

  • 85% of Seats in Government Dental colleges (after exclusion of 15 % seats transferred to All India Quota)
  • 50% of Seats in Private Dental colleges
  • Government seats for admission by the University for MBBS/ BDS shall be reserved for candidates belonging to:
