Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College & Hospital is a reputed medical college & hospital of Gaya, which was established in 1970 as a private college of MBBS and was serving the purpose of both college and Hospital. In 1978,it had been undertaken by the government and from then it changed into public institution. Initially its name was Magadh Medical. It got its present name Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College and Hospital in 1984 on the name of Shri. Anugrah Narayan, the famous leader and first finance minister of Bihar in independence India. It is affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University (Formerly - Patna University) and recognized by Govt. of India and the National Medical Commission (NMC). It has an annual intake of 120 seats in MBBS and 31 seats in 10 disciplines of Post-Graduate studies. 

The campus is spread over an area of 43.85 acres. The whole area is beautifully landscaped while maintaining pristine nature that preserves its aesthetics. The campus infrastructure includes Hospital, an administration Block, Central library, three high-tech classrooms, museums, residential buildings and guest houses for the faculty and staff, fully furnished two girls hostels & three boys hostels, well equipped laboratory and auditorium. The campus also facilities for playing indoor and outdoor games, UCO bank branch & Police Station. The college has Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical and Clinical disciplines.

ANMC Hospital

There is a 600 bedded tertiary care Hospital within the campus which has good number of patient flow in OPD's and IP. The hospital is fully equipped with modern Operation Theatres where major and minor surgeries are performed using the latest equipment and technology. The Intensive Care Units are well-equipped and includes Burn ICU and Neonatal ICU. The Hospital has 24X7 50 bedded emergency services and Blood bank facilities. It has good diagnostic facilities like CT scan, ECG, Echocardiography, Ultrasound and Digital X-rays. Jan Ausadhi Pharmacy for generic medicine is also in place. The Hospital has advanced Paediatric centre for complex and serious diseases of childhood with hospital beds.     Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College & Hospital  MBBS NEETUG Counseling is conducted by 1) MCC (Medical Counselling Committee)( Open To All )and 2) Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB)  (State Domicile)

    1 ) MCC (Medical Counselling Committee)(50%) (Open To All)

    The MCC/DGHS will be doing Counseling for 15% AIQ, 100% Deemed Universities, Central Universities (Delhi University, AMU & BHU including Institutional/ Domicile Quota), ESIC, AFMC(only Registration Part) &I.P University (VMMC & SJH AND ABVIMS & RML& ESIC Dental, Delhi (15% AIQ + 85% Institutional Quota ) 100% AIIMS, 100% JIPMER and B.Sc. Nursing (only 08 Central Institutes).The role of MCC of DGHS is limited to allotment of seats to the participating candidates, as per their merit and choice, which starts only after receiving the list/data/Information of successful candidates from National Testing Agency i.e. the NEET (UG) examination conducting body

     There will be four rounds of AIQ online counseling i.e. AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop-Up Round and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round (SLA (C) No. 10487 of 2021 in the matter of Nihila P.P. v/s MCC & Ors. Hon’ble Supreme Court of India) which will be conducted in online mode. All candidates who have qualified for All India Quota seats on the basis of their rank in NEET UG conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) across the Country. Eligible candidates may download the Rank letter/ Result from NTA website. Cut-off rank of eligible candidates will also be available on the MCC website (www.mcc.nic.in). No seats will be reverted back after the completion of round 2 of AIQ to the States. 

    Reservation Policy for 15% All India Quota seats: 

    Reservation Policy of the Central Government for the NEET-UG Counselling in All India Quota is as follows:

    S.C.- 15% 

    S.T.- 7.5% 

    O.B.C.- (Non-Creamy Layer) as per the Central OBC list- 27%

     EWS- as per Central Government norms- 10%

     PwD- Horizontal Reservation as per NMC norms- 5%

    NOTE:- Reservation of seats under PWD Category is 5% in AIQ & as per NMC norms (Gazette Notification no. MCI-34(41)/2018-Med./170045 dated 04/02/2019). For range of disabilities included, please see Annexure ‘1’.

    • Candidates who registered for Round-1 and did not get any seat allotted are not required to register again.
    • Candidates who have Resigned / Not reported in Round-1 need not register again.

    Who registered in Round-2 & exited with Forfeiture of fees without joining can register again with payment of fees. However, candidates who have already joined and taken admission upto Round-2 of AIQ/Deemed/ Central Universities/DNB will not be eligible to participate in Mop Up Round and Stray Vacancy Round. (Those who registered but were not allotted a seat in Round-1 & Round-2 need not register again).

    NOTE :- List of Registered Candidates ten times the number of Stray vacancies to be sent to Deemed University to be exhausted strictly in order of merit. 

    FINAL STRAY VACANCY ROUND 

    (There will be no Fresh Registration of Candidates in Final Stray Vacancy Round. 
    There will be no choice filling in Stray Vacancy Round. The choices filled during Mop-Up round will be considered for allotment in Stray Vacancy Round.

    2) Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in BIHAR

    The medical aspirants seeking MBBS/BDS admission at BIHAR will have to register themselves for the BCECE (UGMAC ) admission process by filling out their application form. Bihar, MBBS/BDS admission is done on the basis of marks secured in NEET. Candidates who will qualify NEET Exam and meet the eligibility requirements can only register and fill the application form of BCECE (UGMAC ), MBBS / BDS  admission. BCECE (UGMAC ) counseling is conducted in Three Round (Round 1, Round 2, and Subsequent MOP UP rounds). Seat selection for Government Seats and for Management quota seats will be through web counseling

    Eligibility For Admission : Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB)
    1. Qualification:

    • 12th or (10+2 Equivalent) with Minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English for UR &  40% for SC/ST/OBC.
    • Those who have qualified NEET  by scoring the minimum qualifying percentage will be eligible for the Admission and Counseling. Candidates should have earned a minimum of 50 percentile (40th  percentile for SC/ST/OBC and 45th percentile for General-PH) in order to become eligible for NEET counseling rounds
    • AGE: A student must have completed an age of 17 years at the time of admission under NEET eligibility or should complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course.

    Government Seats (State Quota)

    Means and includes seats in Government colleges and Government share of seats in Private colleges.

    • 85% of Seats in Government colleges (after exclusion of 15 % seats transferred to All India Quota)
    • 50% of the available seats for admission by the University for MBBS/ BDS shall be reserved for candidates belonging to: SC – 16%, ST- 1%%,  Backward Classes (BC)-12% Reserved Category Girls (RCG)-3%, Extremely Backward Class (EBC)-18%
    • 10% of total seats in specified Government Medical / Dental Colleges reserved for economically weaker section ( EWS ) Category
