The Srinivas Institute of Medical Research Centre, Srinivasnagar, is located in Mangalore Taluk of Dakshina Kannada District and was established in the year 2011. It is a Tulu minority College and is run by Trust A.Shama Rao foundation which is operational since 1988 with 18 constituent institutions in various other streams of education. It is Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences- RGUHS, Karnataka and recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC). The college has an annual intake of 150 MBBS seats and 52 seats in 16 Departments of Post-Graduation studies. It is well-connected by Road, Rail routes and the nearest Airport is located in Mangalore.
The Medical college is spread over in a lush green cover with huge spacious campus with massive structures. The college has Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical and Clinical facilities in place. Academic facilities includes spacious Air-conditioned classrooms, Lecture theatres with good seating capacity, Examination Halls, Demo rooms. Skill Labs, Museums, Auditorium and Computer labs for students. There are Hi-Tech modern Laboratories & State of the art Departmental museums are in place. KEA – Karnataka Examination Authority conducts counselling MBBS NEETUG For Srinivas Institute of Medical Research Centre (Minority Linguistic Tulu)
Karnataka Examination Authority is the centralized online counselling process for the state Karnataka, which allows (Government seat in Government college ,Government seat in private college/private university and Management(others) seat, NRI seats in private colleges/private universities) through KEA counselling where KEA conducts in 4 rounds, 1st round, 2nd round, Mop-up round and stray vacancy round. Application form will be available in the UGNEET section in https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/Neet2023
KEA – Karnataka Examination Authority conducts counseling for Government Medical College (85% seats and another 15% will be conducted by MCC), 100% seat allotment in Private Universities & Private Medical College ( includes Non-Minority, linguistic minority, and religious minority institutions), by KEA.

- In 2022, the institutional mop-up round of counseling will fill the vacant seats or remain unfilled seats after a mop-up round of KEA counseling. This round is conducted by colleges to fill the left-over seats. A list of the registered candidates' names for stray vacancies will be sent to private colleges to be exhausted strictly in order of merit.
