The Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences, Chalakka, Ernakulam, founded by Gurudeva Charitable Trust (GCT) is established in the Year 2009. The college is recognized by Govt. of India and the National Medical Commission (NMC) and is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. The college offers 150 seats in MBBS, Postgraduate Courses in 2 departments. The location of SNIMS is 14 km away from Nedumbassery Cochin International Airport in between national highways NH 47 and NH 17 at Chalakka, spread over 46 acres, away from the noisy congested city. 5 Air-conditioned, gallery type Lecture Theatres are available in this institution out of which 4 have seating capacity for 120 students each. Another one is on the Hospital side of capacity for 150 students. The audio-visual aids including Overhead Projector, Slide Projector, LCD Projector, and microphone are also provided. All the departments share these Lecture Halls in a scheduled manner. E-Class facility is also available. Central Library is provided in the Level 1 of Academic Block. The medical aspirants seeking MBBS/BDS admission at Kerala will have to register themselves for the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations KEAM in the admission section for the admission process by filling out their application form. Kerala, MBBS/BDS admission is done on the basis of marks secured in NEET. Candidates who will qualify NEET Exam and meet the eligibility requirements can only register and fill the application form for KEAM MBBS / BDS admission.
