Admission Process

Directorate of Health Services, Manipur (State Domicile) will conduct counseling for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in Manipur for Shija Academy of Health Sciences

The medical aspirants seeking MBBS/BDS admission at Manipur will have to register themselves for the Directorate of Health Services, Manipur admission process by filling out their application form. Counseling for MBBS Students (NEET-UG) in Manipur will be conducted by the Directorate of Health Services, Manipur, MBBS/BDS admission is done on the basis of marks secured in NEET-UG. Candidates who will qualify NEET-UG Examand meet the eligibility requirements only can register and fill the application form for manipur, MBBS / BDS admission. directorate of Health Services, Manipur counseling is conducted in Three rounds (Round 1, Round 2, round 3 and Stray vacancy Round (if required))

Steps of counseling

ROUND 1 ( www.manipurhealthdirectorate.mn.gov.in)
States for admission to MBBS, BDS and BASLP courses for the NEETUG Round-1 counseling for nomination of the government will be held in the Main Auditorium, JNIMS, Porompat.

Candidates should visit any of the following seven NIC District Units located in DC Offices Will also be allowed to participate in counseling through video conference:

  1. Chandel,
  2. .Churachandpur,
  3. Jiribam,
  4. Kangpokpi,
  5. V.Noney (for Noney and Tamenglong districts),
  6. Senapati
  7. Ukhrul.

Counseling in the Main Auditorium, JNIMS will be managed by:

  1. One. Registration Team.
  2. Certificate Verification Team.
  3. To maintain official records of selected candidates.
  4. Team to prepare nomination papers
  5. SAHS Team (For Management and NRI Seats)
  6. NIC Technical Team (to arrange VC facility)

Counseling in the district NIC units will be managed by:

  1. One. CMO (Nodal Officer).
  2. District Informatics Officer (for arranging VC facility).
  3. Registration Team.
  4. Certificate Verification Team.

Steps to conduct counseling session:

All counseling centers will have (1) State Government quota seats and (2) Management and Separate registration counters will be opened for NRI quota seats.

Registration of candidates or their authorized representative 8:15 am to 9:30 am Will be done by o'clock.

No new candidates will be allowed to register after 9:30 am.4. By 9:45 am, a photocopy of the concerned CMO attendance sheet to the Selection Board (Email ID: [email protected] ).

Final Attendance Sheet for (1) State Government Quota Seats and (2) Management and NRI Separate preparations will be made for the quota seats by 10 am.

District venue of main meetings through video conference during the entire session. Will remain connected to the venue. If the VC fails, the CMO (Nodal Counseling will be conducted through telephone.)

Counseling will be done on the basis of merit.

The candidate whose name is being called must approach the Selection Board in person or Through video conference or telephone on the number of CMO/Nodal Officer

Courses will be allotted in the following order:

  • MBBS Seats (Government Quota).
  • BDS Seats (Government Quota).
  • MBBS Seats (Management and NRI Quota in SAHS).

Firstly, selection of candidates for three horizontal reservations meritorious sportspersons (2 seats), Ex-Servicemen or Children of Armed Forces (2 seats) and PWD (Total 5%) of seats will be made. Select seats of selected candidates in horizontal reservation The courses taken will be reserved in their respective vertical categories. However, institutions are required to admit candidates in the respective vertical categories

After this the candidates will be selected for UR seats. UR category Meritorious OBC/SC/ST candidates selected in reserved category (MRC). If MRC does not like the college where UR If the seat is available, he/she can choose the reserved seat in a different college. And, to do this However, the UR seat rejected by him may be transferred to the specific reserved category. Will be marked. This exercise aims to determine the total seat distribution among reservation categories. Keeps uninterrupted. Later, if MRC vacates his seat, a UR seat It will be empty again.

Management and NRI quota seats in SAHS will be filled purely on merit basis.

Candidates / authorised representative shall bring all relevant documents in original along with 5 PP size photographs on the day of counselling, failing which, they will not be allowed to attend.
Candidates who were absent in Round-3 Counselling are NOT allowed to participate in this counselling session.
Candidates who have taken seats till Round-3 are also not allowed to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round unless they resign from the course/seat & submit Resignation Acceptance letter issued by the college concerned before commencement of the Stray Vacancy Round.
