The Rajarajeswari Medical College & Hospital located in Bangalore has grown enormously over the year since its inception in the year 2005. The Medical College is run by a Moogambigai Charitable and Educational Trust which came to existence in the year 1992 with a specific purpose and commitment to establish Educational institutions of academic excellence throughout Karnataka. Since then the Trust has formed various other constituent Educational institutions under their banner. It is a constituent college of Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute and is Recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC). RRMCH has a total of 250 seats in MBBS, 167 seats in 20 different specialities of Postgraduate studies and has 12 seats among the 5 Super-Specialization Departments. RRMCH is a NAAC ‘A’ Grade accredited institution and in addition, the other accreditations of RRMCH includes: HLACT, ISO-9001:2015, NABL, IAO and NABH accredited. RRMCH is an institutional member of IMSA, International medical Sciences Academy which is a body aiming to provide enhanced medical care globally. The college has entered into student exchange programs with Hammersmith University – UK besides others like Mayo Clinic – US, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow, UK. RRMCH has also entered into an MOU with Melbourne University Australia, RAK University, Middle East. The institution has been marked number 7 in the survey conducted by Education World magazine. It is well connected by Road, Rail and Aerial routes. 

The RRMCH is spread across a sprawling campus of 25 acres with an excellent and architecturally designed magnificent building infrastructure. The technology induced Lecture rooms are super-spacious which includes academic facilities like Demo rooms, Common rooms, Fully loaded Skill Labs & Computer labs. The Medical Museum at RRMCH comprises 350 dissected specimens and more than 1000 models that enable students to add an extra dimension to medical learning. Air-conditioned Auditorium with a seating capacity of over 500 and The 5000 seater ACS Convention Hall at Raja Rajeswari Medical College & Hospital is a vast space that transforms itself to meet varied needs. The hospital has all the Hi-Tech Medical and Surgical facilities in all streams of Clinical, Para-Clinical and Pre-Clinical areas. It's a multi-speciality Hospital of 1300+ beds with state of the art Modern Medical and Surgical equipment for end to end treatment in the field of Dermatology, ENT, OBG, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Radio Diagnosis, Surgery, Anaesthesiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Forensic Medicine and TB & Chest Disease. It provides health care facilities for patients from in and around south Bangalore and nearby districts.     Rajarajeswari Medical College & Hospital MBBS NEETUG Counseling is conducted by  MCC (Medical Counselling Committee)( Open To All ) 

    MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) COUNSELING PROCESS:- Rajarajeswari Medical College & Hospital

    The MCC/DGHS conducts Counseling for allotment of Under Graduate (MBBS/BDS and B.sc. Nursing) seats to the NEET UG/BDS eligible and qualified candidates in participating Government Medical/Dental Colleges of the country under 15% All India Quota and 100% Central & Deemed University quota every year. All the candidates who have qualified for All India Quota seats on the basis of their rank in NEET UG/BDS conducted by NBE including candidates from Union Territory of J&K will be eligible. The role of the MCC of DGHS is limited to the allotment of seats to the participating candidates, as per their merit and choice, which starts only after receiving the list/data/Information of successful candidates from the National Board of Examinations (NBE) i.e. the NEET (UG) examination conducting body

    Candidates who fall under the category of NRI as per the directions/ orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the case (W.P. No. 689/2017- Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Anr. Vs. Union of India &Ors.) dated 22-08- 2017 are eligible for NRI Category seats. OCI/PIO/Foreign Nationals will be eligible for only NRI seats. The eligible Indian National Candidates wanting to get converted to sponsored NRI category have to submit the documents as and when the same is called for by the MCC.

    Step Wise Counseling Process conducted by MCC:  Rajarajeswari Medical College & Hospital

                   There are four rounds of counseling i.e. Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round & Stray Vacancy Round. Out of the four rounds for Deemed Universities, 03 rounds are conducted online by MCC i.e. Round 1, Round 2, and Mop-Up Round. The Stray Vacancy round is conducted physically by the Deemed Universities for which the list of registered & eligible Candidates is forwarded by MCC to the respective Deemed Universities. The allotment shall only be in terms of merit

    3. The candidate is not satisfied with the present allotment and wishes to participate in the next round of counseling. The previously allotted seat is forfeited and offered to the next eligible candidate
    4. Not satisfied with MCC allotted seat and candidate has got seat elsewhere, so the candidate is quitting and not to be considered for allotment of seats in any of the further rounds

    Fresh Registration for Mop-up Round (not required for earlier resigned candidates)

    • Registration fee varies as per the Filling of application form for AIQ, Deemed, CU, DU, Central Institutes, AFMS

    • Eligible candidates who are not holding any seat can participate in Stray Vacancy Round

    Stray vacancies:- (DEEMED)

    • Final Stray Vacancy Round to be conducted by Deemed/ Central Universities (There will be no Fresh Registration of Candidates in Final Stray Vacancy Round)
    • List of ten times (of the registered candidates) of the number of Stray vacancies to be sent to Deemed / Central Universities to be exhausted strictly in order of merit.
    • For Deemed Universities the Stray Vacancy Round will be conducted by the respective Deemed University
    • Eligible candidates who are not holding any seat can participate in Stray Vacancy Round
