The PMS College of Dental Science & Research, Thiruvananthpuram, is a Private college Established in the year of 2002. The College is affiliated to the Kerala University of Health Sciences and recognized by Dental Council of Indiawith the annual intake of 100 seats in BDS and 36 seats in various streams of Postgraduate Dental Sciences. It is the first NAAC accredited Dental college in Kerala. The college has various collaborations with both International and National Institutions for academics, faculty/student exchange and for faculty development. On the International front there are academic collaborations with Swiss International Academy of Osseo-Integration, Switzerland and European Medical Laser Association (EMLA), France and for faculty/student exchange we have collaborations with Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, New Jersey, USA. On National level we have academic synergies with Saveetha University, Chennai and St. Johns Health Services. We also have a collaboration with Santhigiri Ashram, Trivandrum for co-ordinating the oral health care need of different sections of the society. We regularly conduct faculty development programs in association with Mar Theophilus Training College.
The Dental college is located in a constructed area of 176100 sq.ft and a non-constructed area of 14000 sqft with state of the art infrastructure which has set high standards in terms of Dental Education and creates an environment for excellent student oriented, patient friendly environment with dedicated faculty in place. Currently the college is equipped with 320 latest electronic Dental chairs and has set up a well maintained laboratory with all the latest equipment. There are technology driven air conditioned gallery type lecture halls with audio-visual and multimedia projection capabilities. There are spacious examination hall and seminar halls. The Library is spread in a huge area with good collection of books and National and International Journals with back volumes with an excellent E-Library facility to benefit the students.State of art preclinical labs equipped with patient simulations and Wi Fi enabled campus. There is a Dental education museum within the campus. The campus houses well ventilated spacious hostels for girls and boys separately with staff quarters. The medical aspirants seeking MBBS/BDS admission at Kerala will have to register themselves for the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations KEAM in the admission section for the admission process by filling out their application form. Kerala, MBBS/BDS admission is done on the basis of marks secured in NEET. Candidates who will qualify NEET Examand meet the eligibility requirements can only register and fill the application form for KEAM MBBS / BDS admission. KEAM counseling is conducted in Three Round (Round 1, Round 2, and Subsequent MOP UP rounds). Seat selection for Government Seats and for Management quota seats will be through web counseling

Reservation for All India Quota for MBBS/BDS Courses in Govt. Medical/Dental Colleges: Fifteen percent of the total sanctioned seats in MBBS/BDS Courses in Govt. Medical/Dental Colleges in the State are set apart for the allotment of the candidates by the Director-General of Health Services, Government of India on the basis of the rank obtained in the NEET-UG conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), New Delhi.
Reservation for All India Quota for MBBS Courses in Self-Financing Medical colleges:- Fifteen percent of the seats for the admission of students to MBBS Courses in Self-Financing Medical Colleges in Kerala are set apart for the allotment of candidates irrespective of their Domicile as per the rank obtained in the NEET-UG conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) New Delhi.
