Mahatma Gandhi Dental College and Hospital was established in the year 2003 to fulfill the aspirations of students and growing demand for education in dentistry in the state of Rajasthan. It is promoted by the India Education Trust and is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences And Technology, Jaipur which today is an epitome of quality healthcare through continuous research and development.The college is situated within the 36.5 acre University Campus located in the Institutional Area of Sitapura on the Jaipur-Kota Highway, 9 km from the Sanganer International Airport. The campus includes the Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital which is considered one of the premier medical institutes of the country. The campus boasts of green surroundings, Wi-Fi facility, sports and gym facilities hostels for students and housing for the faculty.
The college is well equipped with advanced materials and equipment to cater the needs of patients for all types of dental treatments. The medical aspirants seeking MBBS/BDS admission at Rajasthan will have to register themselves for the Centralized admissions to all State Quota seats (including Management/NRI seats) in all Government, Govt. Society Colleges, RUHS CMS, and Private Medical and Dental colleges by NEET UG Medical & Dental Admission/Counseling Boardor https://rajneetug2022.in/ admission process by filling out their application form. Counseling for MBBS Students (NEET-UG) in Rajasthan will be conducted by NEET UG Medical & Dental Admission/Counseling Board Jaipur. Rajasthan, MBBS/BDS admission is done on the basis of marks secured in NEET-UG. Candidates who will qualify NEET-UG Exam and meet the eligibility requirements only can register and fill the application form for Rajasthan, MBBS / BDS admission. NEET UG Medical & Dental Admission/Counseling Board Jaipur counseling is conducted in Three rounds (Round 1, Round 2, and Mop-up Round(offline), and the fourth round being the College Round. Suppose the number of vacant seats is x, then 10x the list of registered candidates will be sent to the college and is to be exhausted strictly in order of merit.
Qualification:
Other Eligibility Criteria:-
1) Natural father/Mother of the candidate has continuously resided in Rajasthan for period of last 10 years and the candidate has studied for at least 5 years during this period in a recognized educational institution in Rajasthan |
2 ) All those students who are bonafied residents of Rajasthan but are studying in other states will also be eligible for the allotment process |
3) The candidate is son/daughter of serving or retired (i) Employee of Government of Rajasthan (ii) Officer of All Indian Services borne on State Cadres of Rajasthan and has served for more than 3 years with State Government |
4) The candidate is son/daughter of serving or retired, permanent employee of Govt. Undertaking / Corporation / Improvement Trust / Municipal Bodies / Council / Panchayat Samiti / Co-operative bodies, duly constituted by the Government of Rajasthan by an act of Law who has put in at least 3 years of service on the last date of submission of the on-line application form in the year of admission |
5) The candidate is son/daughter of serving/retired, permanent employee of any of the State University or Secondary Board of Education (Rajasthan) provided that employee has worked in Rajasthan for 3 years preceding the last date of submission of the on-line application form |
6) Candidate is a natural son/daughter of a Serving/Retired permanent employee of Indian Defense and the employee is of Rajasthan origin irrespective of his place of posting. Provided that in case of Defense Personnel from Rajasthan origin, a certificate has to be submitted by them from the employer to the effect that his state of origin is Rajasthan at the time of his entry into service. Eligible candidates of this category shall be admitted as per laid down criteria of priority cum merit of the Rajasthan MBBS & BDS Admissions 2022 |
7) Candidate is a natural son/daughter of a Serving permanent employee of Indian Defense and the employee is posted in Rajasthan at the time of last date of submission of the on- line application form for admission |
8) Candidate is a son/daughter of serving/Retired person of Para-Military Forces of India and the employee is of Rajasthan origin, irrespective of his place of posting. Provided that in case of Para-Military personal from the Rajasthan origin, a certificate (certificate Proforma 3) has to be submitted by them from the employer to the effect that his state of origin is Rajasthan at the time of his entry into service |
9) Candidate is a son/daughter of serving person of Para-Military Forces of India and the employee is posted in Rajasthan at the time of last date of submission of the on-line application form for admission (certificate Proforma 4), |
10) Candidate is a son/daughter of a Judge of Rajasthan High Court subject to the condition that he/she submits an undertaking/affidavit stating that such benefit is not being claimed or availed by them in any other State |

APPLICATION FEE :-
All candidates are required to deposit non-refundable application fee of Rs. 2000/- (Rs. 1200/- for SC, ST, ST-STA category candidate of Rajasthan state domicile as well as candidate of Rajasthan State domicile whose family annual income is less than INR 2.5 lacs) + applicable transaction charges. Note: Candidates of Rajasthan State domicile whose family annual income is less than INR 2.5 lacs and who opt to pay INR 1200/- will be required to submit income certificate at the time of document submission. The application fee is neither refundable, nor transferable and nor adjustable for any future State UG admissions. Any plea in this matter shall not be entertained. |

NO PRIVATE COLLEGE IN RAJASTHAN OFFERS NRI SEAT .
As per order no. F.5(968)DME/LC/2018/1997 dated 29.04.2019 of Government of Rajasthan (Annexure-2), following will be the guidelines applicable for the admission in Under Graduate/Post Graduate, Medical/Dental courses under NRI quota in all Government, Govt. Society institutions and RUHS CMS of the State: |
1) At least one of the parents of students should be an NRI and shall ordinarily be residing abroad as an NRI |
2) The person who sponsors the student for admission should be a first degree relative of the student (i.e. real Brother / real Sister) and should be ordinarily residing abroad as an NRI |
3) If student is taken as a ward by some other nearest relative [as mentioned below (i) to (v)] such students also may be considered for admission provided the guardian has bonafidely treated the student as a ward. For this following nearest relative (NRI) of candidate, who should be ordinarily residing abroad as an NRI can only be considered:

4) All NRI Candidate shall submit a proof being sponsor as NRI/OCI/PIO in the form of certificate issued by the Indian embassy/Ministry of external affairs, Government of India for this purpose. In the absence of that certificate a duly notarized undertaking executed by the sponsor and notarized by the Notary Public of the foreign country where the sponsor resides being submitted by the sponsor, it be treated as sufficient as to the factum of the residence of the sponsor |
5) An affidavit from the sponsor that he/she looks after such student and will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate. |
6) According to the direction of the State Govt., if NRI seats remain vacant due to non-availability of sufficient number of NRI candidates during / after round 2 off-line counseling, such vacant seats will be converted to management / general seats as the case may be. Looking to these directions, the round 2 off-line counseling for NRI seats will be carried out before exhausting the management seats of Govt. Society colleges. The candidate who gets allotment to NRI seats in round 2 counseling shall not be eligible to participate in round 2 counseling for other seats and shall at the time of allotment submit a bond that if he/she does not join the allotted seat or leaves the course before completion, shall be liable to pay the fee for entire course prescribed for such NRI seat |

CONDITIONS RELATING TO BOND / FEE STRUCTURE
Conditions relating to bond etc. (applicable for Government colleges/Govt. Society Colleges/RUHS CMS) The candidates selected in above medical colleges will have to submit a bond of commitment not to leave the course before completion and to serve the State Government for 2 years after completion of the course, amounting to Rs. 5.0 lakhs (Rupees five lakhs). In consonance with Govt. of Rajasthan letter no. F.7(86) CM-HM-Budget-DME-Acad.-2015-3285 dated 15.07.2021, a candidate joining on management seat in Govt. Society Colleges/RUHS CMS shall be required to submit an additional bond to the effect that in case he/she leaves the MBBS course before its completion, fees of all remaining semesters of the course shall be payable by him/her. The candidates selected against NRI seat in above medical colleges will have to submit an additional bond for fees of the remaining period for depositing on a regular basis. In case he/she leaves the MBBS course before its completion, fees of all remaining semesters of the course shall be payable by him/her. The candidates selected in RUHS College of Dental Sciences (Govt. Dental College) will have to submit a bond of Rs. 4.0 lakhs (Rupees four lakhs) in favour of Principal of the said college along with Bank Guarantee of Rs. 1.00 lakh, if the candidate leaves the course before its completion, the Bank Guarantee and Bond will be forfeited by the college.
