Govt. Dental College & Hospital, was established in 1959 , affiliated to KALOJI NARAYANA RAO UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES (KNRUHS) is approved by the Dental Council of India, Govt. of India,State govt of Telangana. On the year 1979 the Dental Wing was separated from the Osmania Medical College and a full fledged Government Dental College and Hospital was established. GDC&H is the only one Govt. dental college in the entire state of Telangana .Boys and Girls are provided separate hostel.

The MCC/DGHS will be doing Counseling for 15% AIQ, 100% Deemed Universities, Central Universities (Delhi University, AMU & BHU including Institutional/ Domicile Quota), ESIC, AFMC(only Registration Part) &I.P University (VMMC & SJH AND ABVIMS & RML& ESIC Dental, Delhi (15% AIQ + 85% Institutional Quota ) 100% AIIMS, 100% JIPMER and B.Sc. Nursing (only 08 Central Institutes). The role of MCC of DGHS is limited to allotment of seats to the participating candidates, as per their merit and choice, which starts only after receiving the list/data/Information of successful candidates from National Testing Agency i.e. the NEET (UG) examination conducting body.

There will be four rounds of AIQ counseling i.e. Round 1, Round 2, AIQ Mop-up Rounds and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round (SLA(C) No. 10487 of 2021 before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India). All candidates who have qualified for All India Quota seats on the basis of their rank in NEET UG conducted by the NTA will be eligible for participation in the counselling process. Govt. Dental College & Hospital, Afzalganj Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)/BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) in Telangana

The medical aspirants seeking MBBS/BDS admission at Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences will have to register themselves for the KNRUHS admission process by filling out their application form. Counselling for MBBS Students (NEET-UG) in Andhra Pradesh will be conducted by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal Telangana MBBS/BDS admission is done on the basis of marks secured in NEET-UG. Candidates who will qualify NEET-UG Exam and meet the eligibility requirements only can register and fill the application form for Andhra Pradesh, MBBS / BDS admission. KNRUHS counseling is conducted in Three rounds (Round 1, Round 2, and Mop-up Round) and & for BDS there can be an extended mop-up if the percentile is decreased. This extended round will be conducted by the competent authority and if the seats are still vacant, then the college will be allowed to fill the seats from the merit list sent. Seat selection for Government Seats (Competent Authority Quota) and for Management Quota(MQ) seats will be through web counseling. Under KNRUHS, the Counselling procedure is divided into Convener quota-CQ (Govt.) and Management Quota(MQ1 & MQ2).

Eligibility For Admission

Qualification:

  • 12th or (10+2 Equivalent) with Minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English for UR & 40% for SC/ST/OBC.
  • Those who have qualified NEET-UG by scoring the minimum qualifying percentage will be eligible for Admission and Counseling. Candidates should have earned a minimum of 50 percentile (40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC and 45th percentile for General-PH) in order to become eligible for NEET-UG counseling rounds
  • AGE: A student must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission under NEET-UG eligibility or should complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course.

Government Seats (Competent Authority Quota)

It includes seats in Government colleges and Government shares of seats in Private colleges.

  • 85% of Seats in Government colleges (after exclusion of 15 % seats transferred to All India Quota)
  • 50% of Seats in case of Private Un-aided Non-Minority and 50% of Minority Medical college and 50% in case of private Non-Minority Dental College
  • Non-local candidates are eligible for 15% unreserved seats only. The local candidates are also eligible for 15% unreserved seats along with 85% seats reserved for the local area.

Local Category:

Candidates who wish to apply for Andhra Pradesh NEET-UG counseling as local candidates will have to meet any of the following criteria with respect to the local area.

  1. Applicants must have studied for a period of four years consecutively in that area: the last year being the year of the qualifying examination
  2. Applicants must have resided in that area for four consecutive years immediately preceding the date of commencement of the qualifying examination
  3. Applicants possess a Local status certificate, issued by MRO

  • 50% of the available seats for admission by the University for MBBS/ BDS shall be reserved for candidates belonging to Backward Classes as follows:
