All India Institute of Medical Sciences [AIIMS] Mangalagiri is one of the AIIMS healthcare institutes being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). It is a medical research public higher education institute located in the Mangalagiri in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is one of the four "Phase-IV" All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) announced in July 2014. It is located between Guntur and Vijayawada. In 2018, AIIMS, Mangalagiri started functioning from a newly constructed, albeit temporary campus at Government Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada. In March 2019 OPD services was started in the Permanent campus at Mangalagiri, Guntur. Thereafter AIIMS gradually moved into its designated campus as newly constructed. The college is recognized by Govt. of India and the National Medical Commission (NMC) and is currently permitted to admit 50 MBBS students per year.
The College has various Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical and Clinical Departments in place. The AIIMS college is coming up with very good infrastructure with good spacious classrooms, Lecture rooms, Demonstration rooms, and examination halls. There are Skill labs and well-equipped laboratories with departmental museums. Library facility are improving with good collection of books and journals. Separate Hostels for Boys and girls along with recreational facilities are there within the campus.

The hospital is currently functional with OPD services and the In-Patient services are yet to start and the hospital is expected to be fully operational in September 2022. Diagnostic Laboratory facilities are available in the OP department. The OPD facilities are available in General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Paediatrics, Psychiatry and Emergency services.

There will be four rounds of AIQ online counseling i.e. AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop-Up Round and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round (SLA (C) No. 10487 of 2021 in the matter of Nihila P.P. v/s MCC & Ors. Hon’ble Supreme Court of India) which will be conducted in online mode. All candidates who have qualified for All India Quota seats on the basis of their rank in NEET UG conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) across the Country. Eligible candidates may download the Rank letter/ Result from NTA website. Cut-off rank of eligible candidates will also be available on the MCC website (www.mcc.nic.in). No seats will be reverted back after the completion of round 2 of AIQ to the States.

Under NTRUHS, the Counselling procedure is divided into Convener quota-CQ (Govt.) and Management Quota(MQ1 & MQ2). The medical aspirants seeking MBBS/BDS admission at DR.YSRUHS (Dr. NTR University Of Health Sciences )will have to register themselves for the Dr. NTRUHS admission process by filling out their application form. Counselling for MBBS Students (NEET-UG) in Andhra Pradesh will be conducted by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) Vijayawada. Andhra Pradesh, MBBS/BDS admission is done on the basis of marks secured in NEET-UG. Candidates who will qualify NEET-UG Exam and meet the eligibility requirements only can register and fill the application form for Andhra Pradesh, MBBS / BDS admission.
Dr. NTRUHS counseling is conducted in Three rounds (Round 1, Round 2, and Mop-up Round and if govt seat left over additional Mop-up Round 2 ) and the fourth round (being Management Quota(MQ1 & MQ2). the College Round. Suppose the number of vacant seats is x, then 10x the list of registered candidates will be sent to the college and is to be exhausted strictly in order of merit. Seat selection for Government Seats (Competent Authority Quota) and for Management Quota(MQ) seats will be through web counseling. Under NTRUHS, the Counselling procedure is divided into Convener quota-CQ (Govt.) and Management Quota(MQ1 & MQ2).
