The Al-Ameen Medical College is situated in Athani the Northern part of  Karnataka, Bijapur (Known as Vijayapura). The college was established in the year 1984 and is run by Al-Ameen Charitable Fund Trust. It is a Muslim minority college Affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences - RGUHS, with an annual intake of 150 MBBS seats. The college also offers Post Graduation courses with 13 different branches of Medical Sciences. The college is recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC), India since 1994. It comes under Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority Professional Colleges Association (KRLMPCA) under the Muslim minority category. The college is located just 3 km away from the city and is well connected by Rail and Road route with the nearest adjoining bordering state being Maharashtra. The nearest reachable Airport is located in Belgaum/Hubli with very less frequent flights.

The college and the Hospital campus spread over two hundred acres of land on the western hills of the historical city of Bijapur. The campus houses impressive College and Hospital buildings, Modernized Classrooms, Seminar Halls, Exclusively stocked Library with Reading rooms, Well equipped Laboratories and Lecture Theatres, Recreational Halls, Playground including facilities for Indoor and Outdoor games, Separate Hostel facilities for Boys and Girls.

 KEA – Karnataka Examination Authority conducts counselling  MBBS NEETUG For Al-Ameen Medical College (Muslims - Minority)

Karnataka Examination Authority  is the centralized online counselling process for the state Karnataka, which allows (Government seat in Government college ,Government seat in private college/private university and Management(others) seat, NRI seats in private colleges/private universities) through KEA counselling where KEA   conducts in 4 rounds, 1st round, 2nd round, Mop-up round and stray vacancy round. Application form will be available in the UGNEET section in https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/Neet2023 

KEA – Karnataka Examination Authority conducts counseling for Government Medical College (85% seats and another 15% will be conducted by MCC), 100% seat allotment in Private Universities & Private Medical College ( includes Non-Minority, linguistic minority, and religious minority institutions), by KEA

  • Fresh registration was allowed for the candidates who hadn't registered in the subsequent rounds.

  • In 2022, the institutional mop-up round of counseling will fill the vacant seats or remain unfilled seats after a mop-up round of KEA counseling. This round is conducted by colleges to fill the left-over seats. A list of the registered candidates' names for stray vacancies will be sent to private colleges to be exhausted strictly in order of merit.
