The Adesh Institute of Medical Sciences & Research(AIMSR) Bhatinda, is a private Medical College established in the Year 2006. The college is recognized by Govt. of India and the National Medical Commission (NMC) and affiliated with Adesh University. It offers 150 seats in MBBS, 46 seats in 15 streams of Postgraduate studies. Adesh University, Bathinda, the currently affiliated university was awarded the "Six Sigma Healthcare Excellence Award" – Oscars of Indian Healthcare, under the category "Best Healthcare Academic Institution of the Year" in December 2015. The medical college is listed in the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER) World Directory of Medical Schools.

The campus is spread out on 100 acres with an excellent infrastructure situated in a clean and unpolluted environment adjacent to Bathinda Cantt, about 12 km from Bathinda Railway station. It has technology-infused Gallery type Lecture halls, Demonstration halls, Common rooms for Boys and Girls, Examination hall. It has latest Medical Skills Lab & Departmental museums. A huge Auditorium which is centrally air-conditioned with modern audio-visual aids, having a seating capacity of 1200 is available. Regional, State, and National level professional conferences, workshops, and seminars are frequently held in the auditorium. Adesh Institute of Medical Science and Research Hospital is a private not-for-profit Medical College associated with a 750-bed Tertiary Care Teaching hospital. Emergency Department The department is conveniently located close to the main entrance from the highway for easy and quick access to the ambulances. Clinical board’s general specialties viz. Medicine, Surgery, OBG, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Pulmonology, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Anaesthesiology and Radiology, and three paraclinical departments viz. Pathology, Microbiology, and Biochemistry are working in the Hospital. Rural Health Training Center, Bhallaiana (Muktsar)
R.H.T.C., Bhallaiana is under the administrative control of the Principal of the College and HOD, Department of Community Medicine. Services of Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology are available for the patients. The Community Medicine department organizes teaching programs and field visits. The senior faculty from the college are posted in rotation for patient care & diagnosis. Lady Medical Officer is available. Interns are posted in batches. Separate male & female wards have been established for patient care. Antenatal and immunization services are provided at the center and in the field. The labor room is well equipped. Investigation facilities for basic investigations, X-ray, ECG, Minor O.T., Injection room, etc. are available. All the vaccines listed under UIP are available. Family welfare activities and activities under the national programs are also carried out.

Urban Health Center, Bhucho Mandi (Bhucho), Bathinda
The Institution has established an Urban Health Centre at Bucho Mandi at a distance of 3 km from the college. A population of 32,000 is covered under the study area. The Community Medicine department organizes teaching programs and field visits. Facilities for diagnostic investigations and minor Surgery are also available. Family welfare activities and activities under the national programs are also carried out.

The medical aspirants seeking MBBS/BDS admission at Punjab will have to register themselves through Combined centralized counseling under the aegis of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. by filling out their application form. Punjab, MBBS/BDS admission is done on the basis of marks secured in NEET. Candidates who will qualify NEET Exam and meet the eligibility requirements can only register and fill the application form for Punjab, MBBS / BDS admission. Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot counseling is conducted in Three Round (Round 1(online), Round 2(Physical Counseling), and Mop-up Round(Physical Counseling)). The fourth round being the College Round, if the number of vacant seats is x, then a 10x the list of registered candidates will be sent to the college and is to be exhausted strictly in order of merit.

Eligibility For Admission
1. Qualification:

• 12th or (10+2 Equivalent) with Minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English for UR & 40% for SC/ST/OBC.
• Those who have qualified NEET by scoring the minimum qualifying percentage will be eligible for the Admission and Counseling. Candidates should have earned a minimum of 50 percentile (40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC and 45th percentile for General-PH) in order to become eligible for NEET counseling rounds
• He/she has completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of his/her admission to the first year Undergraduate Medical Courses.

Government Seats (Competent Authority Quota)

Means and includes seats in Government colleges and Government share of seats in Private colleges.

• 85% of Seats in Government colleges (after exclusion of 15 % seats transferred to All India Quota)

Dental College, Amritsar, and 4 seats in Govt. Dental College, Patiala shall be earmarked for the Non-Resident Indians in the following order:
